Blue lakes, stunning views, ancient temples and manors await you on a trip.
Ecological trail “Blue Lakes” – includes more than 10 lakes, and received the name because of the unusual green-blue color of the water in Lake Blue. An extraordinary walk through one of the most beautiful and picturesque places of Belarus awaits you: untouched nature, incredibly clean and sweet air, beautiful lakes. You will also see countless lakes: Miastro, Batorino, Naroch, Myadel, Luchai, Lake Pond Pastavy. And besides, a lot of famous personalities lived in this area – from the Tyszkiewicz brothers to the Tyzengauz and Napoleon Bonaparte … The combination of outstanding architectural monuments, rich history, and picturesque landscapes of the lake region of Belarus makes this route one of the most popular!

Departure from Minsk.

Arrival to Luchai.

The temple in the name of St. Tadeusz in Luchai village is a magnificent monument of architecture of the late Baroque and Classicism. It was built in 1766-1777 at the expense of the Oginsky. The majestic and solemn appearance of this church in Luchai is complemented by a wonderful painting made in the grisaille technique. The churchyard of the Luchaysky temple, in which you can see intricate landscape compositions, is also noteworthy.

The tour continues with visiting the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Mikhalishki, built at the Augustinian monastery on the picturesque bank of the Viliya River.

Departure to Pastavy. Hot lunch in a cozy cafe.

A city tour awaits you. You will feel true pleasure from exploring the Tyzenhauz Palace, the central square of the city, which will enchant you with the Baroque buildings of the 18th century: the exquisite houses of artisans and the doctor’s house. Also there are  temples in the city that best decorate it. This is the church of St. Nicholas (1894) and the church of St. Anthony of Padua (end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th centuries). Excursion with a folklore program to the Craft House of Pastav with treats and competitions for the group (optional, extra charge).

Visiting local shops, market.

Departure to Kamai.

In Kamai you will visit one of the few temples in Europe with elements of defense architecture – the Church of St. John the Baptist (1603-1606). He captivates not only with his antiquity, but also with the sounds of wonderful organ music. This church is one of the few in Belarus that has never been closed. This fact makes the temple unique (the temple is 400 years old). During the trip we will see how the miraculous icon “emerges” from the fence, we can bow to the holy relics, go down to the crypt, listen to the organ music concert in the church (15-20 min).
