Pinsk – Turov

Arrival in Pinsk. City tour.
Pinsk was part of the Principality of Turov, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, The Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Russian Empire, the Ukrainian People’s Republic, and the Polish Republic. Pinsk is the second city by the number of preserved architectural monuments after Grodno. During the tour you will visit the most iconic places of the city.

* In the warmer months, a boat ride along the Pripyat River is possible (from May to October). Since the city was built along the river from the ship, you can see its most impressive panoramas – the southern view. The former castle, the Jesuit collegium, the buttress tower, as well as the palace of the same name Mateusz Butrimovich, will open to you from a completely different side.

Turov Dairy Plant. An excursion to the dairy factory, where high-quality cheeses are produced from Belarusian raw materials. You will get acquainted with the secrets of this delicious production and see the modern high-tech enterprise with your own eyes. The maximum automation of technological processes makes it possible to produce a high-quality product in all parameters. At the end of the excursion you will be able to taste different types of the plant’s products – delicious cheeses, processing recipes and technologies which was conducted with the involvement of Italian experts. After the tasting you will have the opportunity to buy these cheeses in the company’s corporate store.

During the tour you can find out the history of the city of Turov, visit the Turov Museum of Local Lore, the Castle Hill and the script “Ancient Turov”, the All-Saints Church, the new Church in the center of Turov, and the monument to Kirill Turovsky.
