10.00. Departure from Minsk. During the city sightseeing tour you will know much interesting about the history and modern life of Minsk. On the main street of Minsk – Nezavisimosty avenue – you will see architectural “rarities” of the first post-war decade. Also you will visit Nezavisimosti square – the biggest square of Minsk where relevant venues of the capital are situated (Government house, municipal executive committee, Belarusian state University, Belarusian State Pedagogical University, the Church of Sts. Simeon and Elena, tube-station “Lenin square”).
Visiting historical centers “Trinity Hill” and “Upper town” you will plunge into the atmosphere of the past, will see restored buildings of the Town Hall and the Holy Spirit Cathedral.
You will be impressed by the first-class sports facilities, including the Minsk-Arena, where Ice Hockey World Championship 2014 was held.
In the end of the sightseeing tour you will visit the National Library of Belarus. It was built in 2006 and has in the shape of diamond. It is a spiritual and intellectual treasury of our country.
