Schedule: every Friday and Sunday.
9.00. Departure from Minsk. One of the most famous museums in Belarus – “Dudutki” is situated 40 km from Minsk. The museum was founded in 1993 and aimed to revive traditional Belarusian crafts. In “Dudutki” you can see buildings of the 19th century, feel a rural lifestyle and get to know the national Belarusian traditions. It is a unique place, and it can hardly be called a museum, as all the exhibits here are alive (bakery, pottery shop, mill). You will surely not forget the unusual taste of Belarusian cuisine, accompanied by a glass of real, home-made spirits (samahonka).
In the handicrafts shop you will not only be able to see how everything works using traditional technology, but also be able to join the craftwork and participate in the creative process, and get a horse shoe as a present as a symbol of happiness. In the rural bakery you will see a process of making bread and taste self-made butter, cheese and herbal tee.
Among tourists’ attractions – a parking of restored cars: ZIM, Willis, VW Beatle, Fiat-Тopolino, Crysler, Gonomak, Chaika. Next – visiting the museum zoo (deer, wild boar) and the farm one can have a horse-ride.
