9.00. Departure from Minsk. During the tour we will see medieval castles in Novogrudok and Lida, ancient churches, monasteries, parks and the most beautiful landscapes of Novogrudok.
Novogrudok. This beautiful city is considered the first capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. We will see the legendary castle, beautiful landscapes, ancient religious buildings – Orthodox, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, as well as the ruins of the Novogrudok castle – the first grand-princely castle in Belarus.
The castle mountain offers incredible views of the surroundings, and at the foot of the mountain – the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. During a tour of the cozy streets of ancient Novogrudok, you will also see other ancient temples of the fourteenth and eighteenth centuries, including the Orthodox Church of St. Boris and Gleb of the 14th century. We will visit the house-museum of A. Mitskevich. We will see the Mound of Immortality near the Castle Hill, which is dedicated to A. Mitskevich.
Lida is proud of the most monumental castle in Belarus, founded almost seven hundred years ago (1323) by Grand Duke Gediminas. We will see in the city of Lida religious buildings of the 18th-19th centuries – the Holy Cross Exaltation Church in the Baroque style and the Cathedral Orthodox Cathedral of St. Michael, executed in the forms of classicism. Along the way, tourists will see the most beautiful landscapes of the Novogrudok Upland and the Nalibok Territory.
