Departure from Minsk.

Arrival to Lida. The city is rightly proud of the most monumental castle in Belarus, founded almost seven hundred years ago (1323) by Grand Duke Hedymin. A tour in the castle courtyard will allow you to plunge into the enchanting depths of the past – this castle is one of the most valuable monuments of the defensive architecture of Belarus.

Arrival to Grodno around 13.30.

Lunch and hotel accommodation. 

Grodno sighttseeing tour. The buildings of the Grodno architectural school of the XII century are found side by side with the buildings of modernism and constructivism of the XX century. The most monumental and elegant church of Grodno – the Farny Church (former Jesuistic). At the streets parting from the former Market place there are the extant buildings of numerous monasteries – Catholic (Bernardine, Brigid, Franciscan) and Orthodox, as well as mansions of noblemen.

Excursion to the Castle Hill in Grodno which is located on the bank of Neman. Grodno used to be the capital of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, lots of life-changing events in the history of our country are associated with this city. One of the oldest churches of Belarus – the Kolozhskaya church (XII century) – is situated near the Hill. The Royal gothic castle (so called Old Castle) was built in Grodno during the reign of Vytautas – the ruler of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The New Castle (18th century) is located nearby, where dramatic events of the second and third partitions of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth took place. We will visit the Synagogue of Grodno which was renovated not long ago.

The tour will end on the main pedestrian street of Grodno – Sovetskaya, which has retained the charm and sophistication of the old town.

The most complete information about the life of the city in past centuries is presented in the cozy museum of the history of religion, which contains an impressive collection of artifacts. 

Drive to Korobchitsy Tourist Complex, 12 km away from Grodno. It is a 16-hectare territory styled as Belarusian estate of the 19th century with its beautiful landscapes and pictorial buildings. Here you can feel the atmosphere of those times, innocence of nature. During the excursion around the complex you will ride a stage-coach, see the forge, the house of a woodcarver, Gipsy van, beautiful summerhouses and open-air cages occupied by horses.

Lunch at “The Castle of Zevana” restaurant with its fountains, glass painting, chimney.

Return to Grodno, free time. 17.00.
