“Sula” History Park – Rubezhevichi

9.00. Departure from Minsk. The manor-park complex “Sula History Park”, created on the site of the estate of the noble family of Lensky, charms with the beauties of nature. The ancient buildings, which received a modern purpose after the restoration, retained the charm of the architectural forms of the ХVIII-ХIX centuries.

An interactive format of the tour is waiting for you, allowing you to become an active participant in the tour. At the entrance to the estate with music you will be greeted by an equestrian escort of riders in historical costumes.

Then you will visit the weapons workshop – forging cold steel and a demonstration of saber combat. Further, the magnificent building of the “Royal Assembly” will open to your eyes, where you will see the hall of knightly glory with a collection of tapestries and paintings. A truly royal fireplace also catches eye. The performance of musical works on the bagpipe-dude and harmonium (ХVIII century).

When visiting a brewery and tasting strong drinks, you will see and experience the traditions of drinking and food that have been in the Belarusian estates for centuries. You will learn the rich history of Lensky, visiting the Museum of Lensky, see the manor house and chapel. The beautiful nature and the Sula river are fascinating.

Then we go to the old Belarusian village – Rubezhevichi, known from the XIII century. The name Rubezhevichy comes from the word “rubezh” (“border”) – the place has repeatedly appeared at the border of one or the other state. In the Middle Ages, the eastern border of Lithuania passed here; and until 1939, the border between Poland and the Soviet Union extended beyond the Rubezhevichs. You will also visit the St. Joseph Church with a concert of organ music.
