Arrival to historical-cultural complex “Stalin Line”.
Historical-cultural complex “Stalin Line” was opened on the 30th of June, 2005. It is dedicated to the heroic defense of the Belarusian land from the Nazi invaders. From 1932 to 1939 fort line was built at the borders of the Soviet Union which got unofficial name “Stalin line”. Today’s historical-cultural complex is a part of the Minsk fortified region. It’s occupies about 30 ha. There you will see artillery and machine-gun bunkers, anti-personnel and anti-tank obstacles, army crossing and visit the exhibition of engineering and military equipment.
All the exhibits are real. There are dents from the shells, bullets and shatters on many of them. Even the guides work in the form of soldiers and commanders of the Red Army. Touching the exhibits, you feel the history!
Arrival to Minsk.
Visiting the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. The building and exposition of the museum represent the path that Belarus traveled as part of the USSR between the two world wars and during the Great Patriotic War.
The museum is represented by exhibition halls:
- Hall No. 1 Peace and War;
- Hall No. 2 The world on the eve and in the first years of the Second World War;
- Hall No. 3 Road of War.
The museum is equipped with multilingual audio guides, plasma screens showing photo and newsreels, information kiosks. Today in the museum’s exposition you can see about 10 thousand items.
